The following information is required from the involved parties:
- Copy of ID/passport for all involved parties.
- CBB extract + nationality declaration.
Note: These requirements may vary depending on the type of document you need.
Drafting of Appraisal Reports
A sworn appraiser processes the report, which is fully completed once all procedures have been followed.
Note: Every appraisal report must include a parcel map with a parcel identification number, in accordance with the regulations of the GLIS office.
The appraisal report contains data and findings, as well as the estimated value of the appraised property. It also includes photos and the location of the property.
The purpose of an appraisal report is to provide the most accurate estimation of the property’s value by a sworn appraiser, which is later approved by the GLIS office. The final price of the property may be adjusted higher or lower based on various factors such as location, size, and available amenities.
The GLIS office determines a fixed or official value for the property based on the provided information and their systems. This value is then used for buying or selling the property.
Drafting a Parcel Map with P.ID.
The client provides the most recent survey map of the parcel. The assignment is accepted and forwarded to a sworn surveyor registered with the GLIS office.
To create the new parcel map, the surveyor will visit the property and remeasure the surface area. Previous survey maps may also be referenced to make the location of the property more clearly identifiable.
After the measurement, the survey map is prepared and sent to the GLIS office, where a Parcel Identification Number (P.ID.) is assigned and approved by the designated GLIS surveyor.
Once approval is granted, the survey map is issued with a P.ID. sticker.
